Our drivers are trained in sample handling procedures to ensure samples arrive at the laboratory at the right temperature.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sample collection services operate during business hours (Monday to Friday) and exclude after-hours, public holidays, and weekends. To ensure that sample integrity and workflows remain robust and efficient we request that separate samples are sent for Microbiology, Chemistry, GMO and Allergens wherever feasible. Otherwise subsampling fees may apply and testing may be delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>MNAQ can advise of sample receipt by automated email after samples have been registered. MNAQ recommends providing a minimum of 24 hours&#8217; notice of sample arrival through Customer Experience for an optimal outcome and to ensure we can meet your needs. Where multiple samples are combined and tested together as one sample, this is termed a composite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Where multiple samples are taken from a single unit, these are termed replicates. Both the terms &#8220;composite&#8221; and &#8220;replicate&#8221; will appear on the final reports as applicable<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Limitations and Best Practices for Compositing<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">There is a limit on the number of samples that can be composited, which is determined according to current microbiological reference guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">Importantly, composite testing for allergens is not considered best practice and is not advised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"line-height:1.5\">Composite fees apply per sample, and these costs will be quoted at the time of the inquiry.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sample Integrity<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure robust and efficient sample integrity and workflows, MNAQ requests that separate samples are sent for Microbiology, Chemistry, GMO, and Allergens wherever feasible. If tests are required to be subcontracted please also provide a separate sample. If separate samples are not provided for different test types, sub-sampling fees will apply, and the testing may be delayed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clients must supply samples for testing that are representative of the product or material to be tested and\/or analysed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the integrity of samples upon receipt:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Samples must be packed firmly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cold storage should be used where required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For swabs, they must arrive at MNAQ within 24 hours of sampling and be received within the recommended temperature of between 2-8 degrees Celsius. .<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For waters, they must arrive at MNAQ within 20 hours of sampling and be received within the recommended temperature of between 2-8 degrees Celsius.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If samples are received outside temperature or time specifications or with compromised integrity, the customer will be contacted by the Sample Registration team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<style>.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-3418_c9c5cb-31 .kt-block-spacer{height:60px;}.wp-block-kadence-spacer.kt-block-spacer-3418_c9c5cb-31 .kt-divider{border-top-width:1px;height:1px;border-top-color:var(--global-palette1, #3182CE);width:80%;border-top-style:solid;}<\/style>\n<div class=\"wp-block-kadence-spacer aligncenter kt-block-spacer-3418_c9c5cb-31\"><div class=\"kt-block-spacer kt-block-spacer-halign-center\"><hr class=\"kt-divider\"\/><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-theme-palette-1-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0b10ce0a8430a5d1d28e6afc7cbe5b5e\">Supply of Consumables<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>MNAQ can organise the provision and delivery of consumables.
