Infant Formula & Baby Food Testing in Singapore

When the Consumer Is an Infant, Every Detail Matters

Infant formula and baby food manufacturers need to manage multiple safety and quality challenges simultaneously.

Our Infant Formula & Baby Food Testing Solutions

Infant formula receives additional regulatory attention in Singapore.
SFA states that imported infant formula must be supported by documentary proof that it was manufactured in a facility regulated by the relevant overseas food-safety authority and by a health certificate confirming pasteurisation. Importers are also required to provide laboratory test reports every six months demonstrating product safety.
Special-purpose foods such as infant formula are also subject to nutrition-information requirements, including declarations for energy, protein, fat and carbohydrate, together with nutrients that form part of nutrition or health claims.
